About the service
Remediation restores the work area to its original condition once civil, locating or excavation work is complete. Sand, aggregate, soil, turf, cold mix, concrete — we bring the right materials and finishes for each surface type.
Our aim is simple: the site should look like it did before we arrived, function at least as well, and satisfy every stakeholder who inspects it.
What sets our site remediation & reinstatement apart
SSA has the capability to work beneath any surface — coring concrete, sawing roads, trenching under RMS routes or excavating in soft ground — and to reinstate to a standard that exceeds specification.
Heavy compaction with mechanical wheels, rammers and plates removes soft spots. Reinstated grassed areas are top-dressed with a nitrogen mix so they knit back in cleanly. Subgrade is prepared with Mechanically Stabilised Earth (MSE) and hotmix where major roads demand it.
